Caroline Maniaque, chercheuse au laboratoire ATE, donnera une conférence intitulée « In Search for Lightness » dans le cadre du cycle de conférences 2025-2026 de l’Illinois Architecture Study Abroad Program at Barcelona El Vallès.

Abstract
In Search for Lightness charts inflatables’ epic journey from military labs to a symbol of fluid futurism at Expo ’70 in Osaka.
It explores how visionary architects and then the counterculture hijacked this technology to experiment with new living and social criticism, creating an architectural bubble of utopian dreams.
