Publication – Lost in agroecological transition

How can we feed the world without destroying the planet? This is the existential question that Cédric Rabany, an agronomist and globetrotter for 20 years, attempts to answer in this graphic novel inspired exclusively by real events. Follow him on his journey, fraught with uncertainty and humor, from the tropics (Ivory Coast, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania...) to the plains of Beauce, via the terraces of Morocco. A book beautifully illustrated by our teacher César Canet and his magical colored pencils! In bookstores on February 6, 2026.

Favorite book - "What is the architect the author of?

Sociologist Jean-Louis Violeau, a specialist in the field of architecture, returns with a book that questions the authorship of architects. Drawing on contemporary examples, the author poses a thousand questions: "Can we talk about authorship in architecture? What does it mean to build? Who is the author? Can we talk about an author in a collective work? Can a building be a work of art? ..."

These are legitimate questions, and it's all the more important to address them in the new context of the arrival of Artificial Intelligence.

VOD platform

New digital resource - Tënk

Our VOD (Video on Demand) offering is expanding: we have Arte Campus, and now we'll also have access to Tënk. Tënk, which in Wolof (a language spoken in Senegal, Gambia, Mali and Mauritania) means "to state a thought clearly and concisely". to state a thought clearly and concisely".was born in 2016 from the will of several collectives united in a cooperative.

What do they have in common? The promotion of documentary cinema and support for film creation.

Tënk is a VOD platform offering documentary films on a wide range of themes: ecology, feminism, social struggles, decolonization, the arts, cinema, science or history... It defines itself by a cinema that is plural, free in its content and form.

The programming of around twenty new films per month is the work of a programming committee that scours festivals, cinemas, archives and film libraries. This monthly selection remains available for 4 months, and a review written by Tënk accompanies each documentary.

This new digital resource, a project run by the ArchiRès network, is funded by the French Ministry of Culture.

Favourite book - "Manifeste pratique de végétalisation urbaine: 50 actions coups de green pour changer la ville sans la quitter" (Practical manifesto of urban greening: 50 green actions to change the city without leaving it)

Biodiversity and gardening, two practices that the author encourages us to adopt in our daily lives. She invites us to participate in the transformation of our homes, our buildings, our streets, our cities and our entire environment by planting seedlings, cuttings, insect hotels, birdhouses and more. She teaches us the magic gestures for taking care of our plants. It's a four-step strategy in combat mode.

Together, let's plant our neighborhoods, our sidewalks, everything and everywhere! Let's drop seed bombs and give the power back to nature.

Dossier "The (artificial) intelligence of images".

Review in review

The October issue of D'Architectures* magazine devotes a special report to "L'intelligence (artificielle) de l'image", written by architect and designer Mehdi Zannad and architect Edouard Ropars. Three articles make up the dossier: "Where AI hurts", "Fresh Touch, interview with Eric de Broche des Combes, founder of the Luxigon agency" and "Olivier Campagne, beyond the real".

In the first article cited, Mehdi Zannad looks back at the digital upheavals that have marked architectural project design, and considers the impact on the profession, particularly on the role of the drawing, which he describes as an extension of the architect's creativity. He questions a possible "dispossession orchestrated by a materially motivated project owner". He also warns against the "infinite variants" proposed by AI, giving the architect "the illusion" of "his authority over forms".

The following articles: an interview and an article by two pioneering figures in the field of architectural design, one a graphic designer and the other an architectural photographer.
