Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Jean Duminy Auditorium –

A tool to raise awareness about the importance of landscape in land-use planning practices. From the Carboniferous period, hundreds of millions of years ago, to the present day, the conference invites the public to explore the transformations of the landscape, to examine current land-use planning practices, and to envision possible futures for the Seine Valley as it adapts to climate change.

Speakers: Caroline Motta and César Silva Urdaneta for the CPIER Seine Valley Landscape Mission of the École nationale supérieure de paysage, in collaboration with the Le Havre – Estuaire de la Seine Urban Planning Agency, with support from the French government, the Normandy Region, and the Île-de-France Region
