Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Documentary Center of theENSA Normandie –

TheENSA Normandie ’s document center houses more than 900 rare books. Most of the documents held in the center date from the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. Through regular research, the collection grows by about twenty books per year to document the history of the city of Rouen and the region, as well as the history of architecture and urban planning in general.

Of note in this collection are works by:
• *Normandy: A Collection of Documents on Civil Architecture from the Medieval Period to the 18th Century* by Raymond Quenedey, published in 1930 by F. Contet in Paris
• *Rouen: A Study of an Urban Agglomeration* by J. Levainville, published in 1913 by Colin in Paris
• *Revue Générale d’architecture* by César Daly, in 50 volumes

As part of the European Heritage and Matrimoine Days, the Documentary Center is partnering with the event and the “Faire Collectif” conference—an ecofeminist architectural adventure—by offering access to old illustrated books on women architects, such as Juliette Billard. It is also showcasing old books on the monuments that have shaped Normandy’s regional architecture. Finally, architectural photography takes center stage in several illustrated books on display

As part of the 2026 European Heritage and Matrimony Days.
