Yaoundé, Cameroon MVOG MBI

ENSA Normandie, a student team from DE Trans-Form (Perrine Henry, Maeva Cotigny, Adrien Billard, Marie Armand, Justine Blanchard) and their supervising teachers (Théo Vinceslas, Bertrand Verney) were unanimously ranked first in the competition organized by the French Institute in Yaoundé, Cameroon, for a bus station for the new rapid bus line in the MVOG MBI district. Following this competition, the workshop, co-organized by Bruno Proth (teacher atENSA Normandie), took place from June 10 to 13, 2025, for the on-site construction of this 15-square-meter facility using bio-sourced materials, whose functions will be based on the results of a social survey conducted by students from the Université de la Montagne. This activity involved three European schools (ENSA Normandie, Université La Cambre Horta – Brussels, and ENSA Val de Seine – Paris) and three Cameroonian schools (Université de la Montagne, École des travaux publics in Yaoundé, and École des Beaux Arts in Foumban). François Streiff, a teacher atENSA Normandie internationally recognized specialist in earthen architecture, was part of the jury. This booklet is a record of this incredible adventure.
