Event – “In the Concrete Forest”

Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Jean Duminy Auditorium –
As part of the “Fissurer le béton” event taking place across France from May 23 to 26, teachers Nikolas Fourré and Guillaume Nicolas invite Ilona Morel—an architect, doctoral student at ENSA Clermont-Ferrand, and environmental activist—to discuss intellectual trajectories and practical actions needed to break free from the concrete jungle that still dominates the architectural and construction sectors today.
The event is open to the School’s three communities: students, faculty, and staff. Scheduled during the lunch break to facilitate discussion among everyone, sandwiches and packed lunches are welcome.
