The company

ENSA Normandy

Founded in 1903, ENSA Normandie was established in 1984 in the communes of Darnétal and Rouen (76), in a former factory that bears witness to the architecture of the late 19th century, in the heart of a 2.5-hectare park. Today, the school offers 6,000 m2 of floor space dedicated to architectural education, to which will be added 500 m2 dedicated to research in 2023, financed by the French government's stimulus plan. ENSA Normandie is a member of ComuE Normandie Université, which brings together all the higher education institutions in the new Normandy region. It employs 52 tenured and associate professors, including 8 professors and 4 HDRs, 120 external contributors and a 40-strong administrative team, to train nearly 700 students. Its pedagogical project is characterized by a highly integrated Bachelor's degree, offering a clearly identified, progressive pathway, culminating in a semester of international exposure. Since the start of the 2020 academic year, this Bachelor's degree has been expanded to include a dual Bachelor's degree in architecture and engineering with INSA Rouen Normandie, as well as a delocalized Bachelor's degree in Hanoi (Vietnam). The Master's degree is structured around three fields of study: Experimentation (the challenges of eco-construction), Transform (the challenges of intervention in existing buildings) and Urbanités résilientes (the city in the face of climate change). It offers the DRAQ master's degree in conjunction with the Civil Engineering department of the University of Le Havre.
