Mission :
As part of an associative project in Senegal, implemented by GLOBE (a French association working in rural areas for anthropo-cultural development), we are recruiting a student or graduate architect to oversee the construction of a cultural center.
Led by Atelier Perraudin, the Wendoogo project aims to develop raw earth (adobe) construction techniques using the Nubian Vault technique. In so doing, it emphasizes the understanding and direct manipulation of the material, as well as promoting a position of respect for the environment and the locality in which it is located.
The mission will consist of careful monitoring of the site, with a need to understand the plans and indications transmitted by the architectural firm, in dialogue with the association's teams, the Perraudin architectural studio and the contractors.
The trip will take place from december 2024,
Transportation to Senegal is provided, as well as compensation for food and lodging, and remuneration for the volunteer.
