Background and challenges
As part of its mission to strike a balance between preserving natural, landscape and architectural heritage and developing the region, the Marais Poitevin Regional Nature Park aims to encourage renovation and sustainable construction, using biosourced, geosourced and recycled materials. In 2020, an initial assessment of the ecomaterial construction sector identified straw, hemp, earth, poplar, reused and recycled materials as possible areas for action. The Park has taken initial steps to raise awareness among elected representatives and technicians, with a view to drawing up a collective territorial strategy. In the chain of actors involved in the act of eco-renovation and eco-building, the link of local actors in implementation is little known. The aim of this internship is to refine the territorial diagnosis, particularly with regard to the "businesses" aspect, in order to feed the action plan of the Park and its partners.
