The "Flake Houses" were created in 2006 for the "Petites Machines à Habiter" competition organised by the Conseil d'architecture, d'urbanisme et de l'environnement de la Sarthe. ENSA Normandie has recovered these huts from ENSA Nantes. The school is launching a call for projects for the future of these two wooden buildings.

Project criteria

  • To be used for existing or new student or association projects
  • Mobile huts can be moved around the park but must be close to an existing electrical point (School / Park Workshop / Association House) to avoid making a trench in the ground
  • Land must be flat or with land compensation if this is not the case
  • Must not be used for storage
  • Two existing huts (one of about 6m² and the other of 14m2)

Application form

The project leader(s) will send a free format file including the following elements

  1. presentation of the project
  2. budget
  3. contact of the project owner(s)
