Off-site construction, a (R)evolution in the building industry
The practice of off-site construction, which is expected to account for 20% of global construction by 2030, is already gaining ground in densely populated cities such as London and New York, and is tending to spread to France. This approach, based on advanced prefabrication of buildings, calls for specific implementation strategies, assemblies and work organization, in which steel plays an essential role.

The competition is free and open to all students enrolled in a French architecture or engineering school for the year 2024-2025. Candidates can enter alone or in teams (maximum 4 per team), and teams can be mixed, architects/engineers. The project may be handled by the students on their own, or it may be part of a larger programme
program, selected as part of a course.

A sum of €5,000 will be distributed by the jury among the winning teams. The number of winners and the distribution of prizes will be decided by the jury.
