Jacques Rougerie Foundation – Academy of Fine Arts –

In 2026, the Jacques Rougerie Foundation – Academy of Fine Arts will award prizes totaling €42,000 (forty-two thousand euros) to candidates who submit an architectural project related to floodplains, the sea, and space. Participants may enter either individually or as a team, designating a project leader.

The awards will be presented to the individual nominee or to the team leader (who will be responsible for distributing the prize among the team members).

The prize amounts for the Grand Prix for Architecture and Innovation are distributed as follows:

• The “Submerged Lands” Grand Prix – Future Prospects: €7,000 (seven thousand euros)

• A "Terres submersibles – Lab" Grand Prix: €7,000 (seven thousand euros)

• The Grand Prix Mer – Prospective: €7,000 (seven thousand euros)

• A Mer–Lab Grand Prix: €7,000 (seven thousand euros)

• A Grand Prix Espace – Prospective: €7,000 (seven thousand euros)

• An Espace–Lab Grand Prize: €7,000 (seven thousand euros)

In addition to a grant, the winners will receive support from the Foundation to further develop their project and eventually bring it to fruition. The winners will be able to draw on the Foundation’s network of experts.
