Conference - Bamboo in ecological design

Bamboo is an ecological material. It can store carbon, provide ecosystem services, contribute to soil and water management. Moreover, bamboo has become the cultural symbol of many regions and has long been associated with everyday life. After being long forgotten and considered the "poor man's wood", bamboo has recently made a comeback on the design scene. With its durability and versatility, bamboo is available to us to develop ecological design concepts.
