The Monumental Forest #2

On the occasion of the new edition of the Forêt Monumentale in Canteleu, the Forum - Maison de l'architecture de Normandie presents this extraordinary project. Comprising 13 monumental works of art, this year's Forêt Monumentale traces a 4-kilometre route through the Roumare national forest.
To create this itinerary, a call for entries was launched, generating 326 applications from visual artists, designers and architects from 33 different countries.

Alongside this itinerary, the Forum opens its doors to a behind-the-scenes look at the project, with a selection of applications and a presentation of the 13 selected works, using plates, models and perspectives.

Imagined as a way of discovering the forest in a different way, the artistic projects question the current climatic situation and the relationship between man and nature.
