Launch of the Rouen 2030 COP

How can we reconcile the urgency of climate change with the preparation of a fairer future for us all? How will we live in 2050? How can we reduce our footprint and achieve carbon neutrality? How can we adapt to climate change?
These issues are at the heart of the reflections undertaken by the Rouen Normandy Metropolis as it draws up its Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale - Air Energie Climat (SCOT-AEC).
To continue and amplify the momentum of territorial mobilization initiated at COP21, the Metropole is launching COP Rouen 2030 and setting up a Climate Action Network to help prepare the Air Energy Climate action plan.
On the morning program:
- Climate change: Challenges for our region
- COP Rouen 2030: what is it? How can I contribute?
- Ecological transition, societal transformations and respect for human rights: what recommendations for the SCOT-AEC? Workshops on 5 cross-cutting themes (sobriety, sustainable prosperity, resilience through the prism of social cohesion, environmental justice and paradigm shift)
