ENSA Normandie receives new government funding for energy renovation
- School life
After receiving exceptional funding of €6.6 million from the recovery plan,ENSA Normandie once again won a call for projects: "Resilience 2," launched last October by the State Property Directorate. This call for projects is part of the energy efficiency plan. This plan aims in particular to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, starting with better management of state-owned buildings, the largest energy consumer in France.
More than 5,600 applications were submitted, 1,000 of which were selected, including that of the Normandy School of Architecture.
Three projects selected for a total of €867,000
- Insulation and replacement of the Palomar gallery windows, located on the 2nd floor of the building
- Replacement of the exterior woodwork in the Great Hall
- Installation of a building management system to supervise and control the heating and ventilation systems, ensuring that they operate in the most efficient and economical manner
This government energy conservation plan aims to reduce our energy consumption by 10% by 2024, thanks to a collective effort. It is a first step towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
