Publication – Observatory on Gender Equality in Culture 2026

The fourteenth edition of “theObservatory on Gender Equality in Culture and Communication” has just been published. This annual report provides an overview of progress made, identifies areas for improvement, and outlines concrete actions to be implemented to ensure that women and men have equal access to leadership positions, resources, fair compensation, and equal recognition. This 2026 Observatory is the result of a joint effort between the Ministry’s Department of Studies, Forecasting, Statistics, and Documentation (DEPS), the Senior Official for Equality, Diversity, and the Prevention of Discrimination, and the Monitoring Unit of the Directorate General for Artistic Creation (DGCA).

It is up to each and every one of us to embrace this new edition and support the movement toward true gender equality.
