The company

ENSA Normandy

Founded in 1903, ENSA Normandie was established in 1984 in the municipalities of Darnétal and Rouen (76), in a former factory that bears witness to the architecture of the late 19th century, in the heart of a 2.5 hectare park. The school currently offers 6,000 square meters of floor space dedicated to architectural education, to which will be added 500 square meters dedicated to research in 2023, financed by the government's stimulus plan. ENSA Normandie is a member of the ComuE Normandie Université, which groups together all the ESR institutions in the new Normandy region. It has 52 full and associate professors, including 8 professors and 4 HDRs, and 120 external contributors, as well as an administrative team of 40 agents, to train nearly 700 students. Its pedagogical project is characterized by a highly integrated Bachelor's degree, offering a well identified progressive course and ending with an international opening semester. This Bachelor's degree is being developed with a double degree course in architecture and engineering with INSA Rouen Normandie since the start of the 2020 academic year, as well as a delocalized Bachelor's degree in Hanoi (Vietnam). The Master's degree is structured into three fields of study: Experimentation (issues of eco-construction), Transform (issues of intervention in existing buildings) and Resilient Urbanities (the city in the face of climate change). It delivers the DRAQ master's degree in a dual curriculum with the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Le Havre.
