The October issue of D'Architectures* magazine devotes a special report to "L'intelligence (artificielle) de l'image", written by architect and designer Mehdi Zannad and architect Edouard Ropars. Three articles make up the dossier: "Where AI hurts", "Fresh Touch, interview with Eric de Broche des Combes, founder of the Luxigon agency" and "Olivier Campagne, beyond the real".

In the first article cited, Mehdi Zannad looks back at the digital upheavals that have marked architectural project design, and considers the impact on the profession, particularly on the role of the drawing, which he describes as an extension of the architect's creativity. He questions a possible "dispossession orchestrated by a materially motivated project owner". He also warns against the "infinite variants" proposed by AI, giving the architect "the illusion" of "his authority over forms".

The following articles: an interview and an article by two pioneering figures in the field of architectural design, one a graphic designer and the other an architectural photographer.
