Rurality and participation" off-site workshop, a dedicated website

From April 29 to May 6, 2023, M1 students from ENSA Normandie and ENSA Paris-La-Villette, as well as two young professional architects, were invited to Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire for a residency in order to reflect, with the inhabitants, on the questions raised by the articulation between heritage and ecological transition. More specifically, the aim was to contribute to the study of the possibilities of projects on the site of a future eco-neighborhood, to help in the reflection on the reception of a sustainable tourism extended to the reception of new populations, in particular families with children, and finally to bring a contribution on many other subjects, in particular on the built, natural and immaterial heritage, the characterization of the singularities of the territory, its potentials and its future. This residency was realized in partnership with the commune of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire, the ENSA Normandie and Paris-La-Villette, the association didattica and the association Petite Cité de Caractère.
