Internship - Aldema Design et Art

Aldema Design et Art is to carry out studies for several projects at short notice. The work covers the architectural, interior design and landscape design phases.

These are :

• Production of plans, sections and elevations based on established surveys (laser or manual)
• Construction of pre-models for volume studies
• 3D modeling with Sketch up
• Mood board creation.

Brief description of the host structure:

The agency is the result of JLCdeC's international career (see book presentation). The founder, who has 40 years' experience at the head of his agency, has just created a general contracting structure: cf Architecteur: Turnkey project design and implementation. It is in this capacity that the trainee will discover the profession of Architect General Contractor, common in the US, China and Anglo-Saxon countries.

Projects will cover :

• Renovating the town hall into an apartment
• Feasibility of renovating a seaside villa
• Study of cider cellars

the location of the workplace:

• part on the agency site: Villa Mathilde 103 chemin de la Touzerie 14290 Saint Julien de MAilloc ( 9 Km South Lisieux)
• some teleworking
• part on the sites: accompanied by JLCdeC

We're looking for a motivated student with a keen interest in the dialogue between traditional and modern architecture.

Proficiency in Autocad or Archicad and Sketchup is a prerequisite. Knowledge of Revit is not necessary.

Interest in Art :

- drawing painting sculpture

- new technologies AI

- practical knowledge of construction elements, particularly framing (half-timbering)
