Call for papers - The heritage of Reconstruction: knowing, preserving and adapting, transmitting and promoting

To coincide with the ceremonies commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, the Normandy Region will be hosting a symposium entitled "Le patrimoine de la Reconstruction: connaître, pérenniser et adapter, transmettre et valoriser" . It will take place in November 2024.
The symposium, organized as part of the Label Reconstruction program, is coordinated by Stéphanie Dupont (Normandy Region), Patrice Gourbin (ATE - ENSA Normandie), Nicolas Ivon (Normandy Region) and Philippe Madeline (ESA-Caen - Caen-Normandie University).

Papers may be submitted along the following lines:
- State of knowledge on a still emerging heritage
- The resilience and adaptability of Reconstruction heritage as a planning challenge for the future
- Reconstruction heritage, raising awareness and promoting tourism

Proposals for papers must be submitted by February 12, 2024.
