Participants make 3-minute short films in which they explore professions that interest them, meeting professionals and sharing their experiences. The project promotes career guidance and helps young people better understand the world of work.

Stairs Design Awards #4, create the staircase of tomorrow

Registration from October 7, 2024 to January 31, 2025 -

This competition invites architecture students to design a staircase with a strong identity, one that transcends its simple practical function to become a true architectural centerpiece. The use of concrete must be at the heart of the project, although other materials may be integrated. The staircase must remain true to its function, comply with accessibility standards and be technically feasible.

Schools 2024 concrete trophy

The School Concrete Trophy, organized by the Bétocib, by CIMbéton and the Ecole Française du Béton, in partnership with the AAIIA and the Maison de l'architecture Ile de France, and under the patronage of the French Ministry of Culture, promotes both PFEs and young people in the course of their studies:

In the PFE, category, it recognizes young graduates from architecture schools, with a special mention for an architect-engineer or engineer-architect double degree, or for a team made up of architects and engineers.

In the Studiocategory, he invites students in the course of their studies to explore the material concrete through free plastic expression.

The Concrete Schools Trophy, PFE and Studio, sponsors and offers visibility to all candidates at the dawn of their professional lives.

Batifranc "Prix de la Friche

Batifranc, a major real estate player in the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, is launching a competition open to students, architects and other creatives inspired by the project, to imagine a second life for a former industrial wasteland in the heart of Le Creusot. Dress me" competition - The winners

The competition launched at the end of January 2024 by the Pôle documentaire asked students to design the return box so that it would stand out. The jury deliberated in April to choose the design for the box. Rodolphe Schvartz 's project seduced the jury, winning 1st prize. Marie-lou Girard and Arthur Bossard came second and third respectively. Many thanks to our three winners for their participation.

Master of Architecture Thesis Award "Housing Tomorrow" Chair

Until June 17 - This prize, unique in its subject matter, is open to Master's students at France's 22 schools of architecture, whose dissertations focus on housing. Through this award, the "Housing Tomorrow" Chair and its partners are mobilizing to promote and publicize the research work of architecture students working on this theme.

This year's sponsors are Marjan Hessamfar, associate architect with Marjan Hessamfar & Joe Vérons architectes associés and vice-president of the Conseil national de l'ordre des architectes (CNOA), and Pierre Chabard, lecturer at ENSA Paris-La Villette and head of Éditions de La Villette.

Conditions of participation

Students whose dissertation has been validated and defended in the 2021-22, 2022-23 or 2023-24 academic years are eligible to apply.

Acier 2024 Competition: Reclaiming urban wasteland - Reinvesting what's already there

Organized by ConstruirAcier and chaired this year by architect Raphaël Ménard, the Acier 2024 À la reconquête des friches urbaines - Réinvestir le déjà-là competition invites entrants to design an architectural model or program based on the redevelopment of an existing wasteland, using steel in whole or in part, to meet the major challenges of urban transformation. By focusing on rehabilitation and reuse, they will be demonstrating all the possibilities offered by steel as a material for the sustainable transformation of territories. Candidates will examine the material steel, question its life cycle, and identify the possibilities for a massive circular economy of this material.

Palpite - Student awards to inspire territories

The Palmarès PALPITE is a national initiative aimed at students working on and in rural areas. It is aimed at the entire student community, regardless of discipline, and aims to build up an unprecedented database of student work in rural areas and small towns.

Of the 104 applications received, 30 were shortlisted for their ability to inspire rural areas and public action, and for their constructive contribution to major contemporary transitions.

Public voting is open until March 20, 2024. It will be used to select the winner of the Palmarès 2024 Public Prize.

You can vote for three projects. You will be asked to enter your e-mail address to validate your vote.

Webinar - !mpact 2024 competition

March 27 at 6pm - Presentation of the !mpact competition. Promoting a sober, committed approach to architecture, in conjunction with frugal materials such as bioresources, raw earth and stone, the !MPACT competition is aimed at architecture school, bachelor's and master's students wishing to experiment with these products in their projects. Through the realization of a construction or renovation project of your choice, you are invited to study more broadly the origin of materials, construction techniques to limit the use of materials, equipment, bioclimatism and reuse.

You can apply for the 9th !mpact competition by registering on the website (www.concoursimpact.org) by May 31, 2024, and submitting your project by July 14, 2024.

Since the inception of the !mpact competition, 75 projects have won prizes, and each year around ten projects are awarded prizes, spread across several ENSAs.
