To coincide with the major retrospective devoted to the architect, cabinetmaker and decorator Maxime Old, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen is inaugurating a new space, "Le Laboratoire Maxime Old", designed in collaboration with 3rd-year students from the École nationale supérieure d'Architecture de Rouen as part of the "Situation" workshop. Supervised by three teachers from different disciplines: Sophie Cambrillat (architect), Dominique Lefrançois (sociologist) and Kacha Legrand (visual artist), this student team reinvented Maxime Old's furniture for the 21st century, rethinking forms, materials and uses in a contemporary context.

On September 26, 2024, the college of ENSA(P) directors met and elected Raphaël Labrunye, director of ENSA Normandie, as its new president for a 2-year term. He succeeds François Brouat, former Director of ENSA Paris-Belleville, who has retired.

In addition to Raphaël Labrunye, the college's executive committee has been renewed:

Applications are now open to join La Fruitière, ENSA Normandie's incubator, in September. This program is aimed at anyone with an innovative business idea in the field of architecture who would like to be supported.

After an exceptional financial envelope of 6.6 million euros from the stimulus plan, ENSA Normandie is once again the winner of a call for projects: "Resilience 2", launched last October by the State Real Estate Directorate. This call for projects is part of the energy sobriety plan. This plan aims to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, starting with better management of government buildings, the largest energy-consuming sector in France.
More than 5,600 applications were submitted and 1,000 were selected, including that of the Normandy School of Architecture.

Architecture innovates in Normandy: new entrepreneurs join La Fruitière, ENSA Normandy's incubator. Entrepreneurship in the field of architecture often rhymes with "architectural agency". However, innovation can find its way in and it is exactly to support it that La Fruitière exists within the School. Five new project leaders are joining this nascent incubator to break the codes.

By decision of the institution's board of directors, on the proposal of the pedagogical and scientific council, the title of professor emeritus is awarded for a period of 3 years to Mr. Laurent Salomon and Mr. Dominique Dehais as of September 1, 2022.
This honorary status allows these retired professors to continue to contribute to research activities on an incidental and gratis basis. In particular, they may direct seminars and participate in thesis or habilitation juries. This title also authorizes them to continue, until their completion, the thesis directions accepted before their retirement.

On 7 and 8 June, the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Normandie will be hosting a Vietnamese delegation as part of the Bachelor of Architecture programme at the Hanoi University of Architecture (HAU).
On the programme: presentation of the two institutions' projects, exchanges on pedagogical issues and future developments, working meetings with the Pedagogical and Scientific Council, visits and exchanges with other higher education and research partners in the region.
