La vela del Ebro - The sail of the Ebro
This collaboration mainly concerned exchanges of skills and know-how, but also various co-constructions and collaborations. Thus, after the School of Architecture of San Sebastian and the Architectural Association of London, the National School of Architecture of Normandy was honoured to be invited by the Spanish festival to create an installation in the public space of Logroño from 26 April to 1 May 2019. 6 students and 2 professors collaborated on this project and were able to present it in situ, in the heart of one of the world's most renowned ephemeral architecture festivals.
The Rouen Normandy Metropolis is therefore proud to have supported this project and thus to have promoted the knowledge and creativity of its school of architecture on an international scale.

Guadeloupe Workshop
A new concept
At the invitation of their teachers, the students of the workshop this year looked at the issue of city floors in three cities of Guadeloupe. In Le Moule, Morne-à-l'Eau and Pointe-à-Pitre, they analysed, drew and measured the ground floor of the city. By extending their gaze beyond the simple notion of ground floor, they have apprehended a new and essential dimension of the city.

Rehabilitation of the Patrice Mottini Pavilion
This work, part of the "Trans-Form" field of study, aims to design a renovation project for theENSA Normandie Park WorkshopsENSA Normandie by P. Mottini in 1995. In order to develop coherent and solid projects, the DE Trans-Form students carried out a collective survey of the building.
RADIAL 2 contains two dossiers, featuring articles that share a common focus on the status, production, and functioning of images today.
The first dossier is based on contributions to the international symposium L’image sans qualités (Rouen, 2018) and articles selected at a later stage. The second dossier, Varia, includes contributions from artists and researchers, most of whom are from partner institutions of the RADIAN Doctorate: ED 558 HMPL, ESADHaR, ésam, andENSA Normandie.
Regarding the contribution fromENSA Normandie, L’oubli de l’espace (The Forgetting of Space) by Arnaud François explains why, in postmodernity, architecture and the visual arts in general are considered more as an art of time than an art of space.

International Workshop - Hanoi, Vietnam
French and Vietnamese students have the opportunity to take L1, L2, or L3 courses in Hanoi and have the ECTS credits earned in Vietnam recognized in the French architecture degree program. This is a collaboration between the French National Schools of Architecture (ENSA Normandie, ENSAP Bordeaux, and ENSA Toulouse) and the Hanoi University of Architecture (HAU). Today, this collaboration has led to institutional recognition by both countries of a delocalized Bachelor's degree in Architecture offered byENSA Normandie.
This pedagogical partnership bears witness to the connivance built up over the last ten years between our Eastern and Western cultures on architecture in its encounter with its context.
If Le Moule were told to us, and if the different sequences that punctuate its crossing, from East to West while travelling from Pointe-à-Pitre, were told successively, here is more or less the little story that would result.

A multi-site study
During these two academic semesters, the Master Parcours DRAQ inaugurated a new formula by choosing several study sites in the Le Havre and Rouen urban areas. Coming from different periods ranging from the 18th century (for the museum ex-palace of justice), to the beginning of the 20th century (for the Jean Macé school), to the second part of the 20th century (for the BCMO, the university library of Mont-Saint-Aignan or the Reservoir tower of Caucriauville), these buildings present a typological, chronological, spatial and constructive diversity, the critical analysis and understanding of which have formed the basis of their reconversion...
