Survey, experiment and question the site of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

For a week, from May 7 to 14, 2022, students surveyed the site of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin from top to bottom, from length to breadth, with inhabitants, landscape architects, architects, cultural leaders, historians, geographers, and urban planners. History, theory, criticism and mediation of architecture

From 2017 to 2022, the "History, Theory, Criticism, Mediation" Seminar, taught at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Normandie, welcomed each year cohorts of 15 to 17 students, in master 1 and 2, to develop a critical reflection over three semesters.

The aim of this booklet is to provide a record of the work undertaken during these years, in particular since 2019 under the direction of Camille Bidaud (2019-2020; 2020-2021; 2021- 2022; 2020-2021; 2020-2021)

The arts of architecture

RADIAL 4

No. 4 of the RADIAL journal, linked to the RADIAN doctorate, on The Arts of Architecture proposes to rethink architecture as an art; starting with the art of building as the source of a poetics unfolding in the real, and also considering the other arts, such as literature, cinema and landscape, involved in the process of architectural creation. The RADIAN doctoral section contains essays by RADIAN doctoral students in "research and creation", and the VARIA section concerns composite research.

Ecodesign

The principle of this course and its challenges are directly linked to the new RE2020 E+C- environmental regulation. It proposes to all Bachelor 3 students to evaluate the environmental quality of their own architectural proposals. At the end, they must be able to choose the construction method and materials adapted to its environmental impacts.
