Guadeloupe Workshop - "De cases en bulles" Factory

Perhaps in Pointe-à-Pitre

Since 2017,ENSA Normandie Master's program in Architecture, City, and TerritoryENSA Normandie collaborating with Guadeloupe's Department of Cultural Affairs (DAC). Each year, around twenty students from Normandy discover this overseas department and base their semester project on a territory that they learn to interpret and analyze.

The aim of this course is to enable students to take an interest in complex situations and encourage them to place their projects in the context of broader, shared issues: those relating to landscape and the environment, changing urban configurations, and social, programmatic, industrial, and technological transformations.

This album was produced by students atENSA Normandie their teacher in October 2025. Neither its content nor its proposals are binding onENSA Normandie partners. The proposals are presented in the form of a narrative. The characters mentioned here are the product of the students' imagination and any resemblance to real persons is purely coincidental.
Based on the students' drawings and real-life photographs, the work presented here uses artificial intelligence interfaces. This work also aims to stimulate collective reflection and criticism regarding the use and future of this technology.

Erratum - 1st year S1 project workshop

In the study booklet for semester 1 of the 2023 project workshop, we would like to clarify certain passages in the exercise statements.

It appears that paragraphs and quotations from the ENSA Paris-Est 1st year 2018/2019 project workshop study booklet have been taken over without explicit mention of their source (p. 11, statement; p. 15, statement; p. 21, statement and quotation from H. Focillon; p. 27, statement and quotation from A. Perret).

The work carried out at Paris-Est served as a reference for the development of exercises just before the start of the 2023/2024 academic year atENSA Normandie, and certain excerpts were mistakenly retained in the published version of the booklet. However, these texts had been revised in September 2023 and were not intended to be distributed in this form.

We sincerely apologize to the authors concerned for this inappropriate use. In order to rectify this situation, the workbook is being corrected and access to it has been temporarily suspended.
